The fear of US-Israel
Saturday, August 5, 2006
Dear Sir:
Geoff Croome wrote a good letter and advised caution criticizing the present situation in Lebanon and Israel.
I let you judge for yourself after I reveal to you the real reason for all this horrible violence and destruction.
It is nothing but fear. The capitalist leaders of the USA and Israel are very afraid they will not have enough. They are scared to death that they will not have enough money, power, oil, water and dominance over the riches they themselves lack. The whole miserable conduct by the superior military force wielding powers is to secure the energy sources of the Middle East.
When Iraq started to sell its oil for Euros instead of dollars, the hegemony of the debt-ridden dollar was in jeopardy. One week after the invasion of Iraq, its oil was sold again for dollars. The puppet Iraqi government dances to the pipes of the occupying forces.
In Afghanistan a pipeline to transport natural gas from Turkmenistan to Pakistan was planned by the US company Unocal long before September 2001. Osama bin Laden hiding in Afghanistan was used to give the US a reason to attack that country. The Taliban wanted part of the transit fees (app. 200 million dollars per year) that would become a source of income for their country, otherwise they would fight the pipeline construction hand and tooth. With the result of an all-out attack on the Taliban which is continuing today. The construction of the pipe line is on hold.
Another pipeline that is run by BP and became operational on July 13 of this year, one week before Israel started its attack on Lebanon under the false pretext of two kidnapped soldiers, is the TBC oil carrying pipeline. From Baku to Tiblisi to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. Underwater pipelines are planned from Ceyhan to the Israeli port of Haifa, from where the oil will be pumped to refineries and to Eilat to supply countries south of there. Next to the oil pipelines water pipes will be laid from the Turkish port of Ceyhan to Haifa in Israel. Israel, afraid of interference by the Hezbollah, has therefore attacked Lebanon, not just the south where Hezbollah was active, but all the way.
The whole coastline has to be secured, so US-Israel's greed for oil can be satisfied.
Judge for yourself if that is worth the thousands of dead and wounded in the whole Middle East.
Alexander Baldal
